[untitled] would like to thank everybody who attended the launch of issue 04, which was held at Heidelberg Theatre last night.
Award-winning novelist Arnold Zable inspired attendance with a talk about short stories, and the importance of stories in our lives. Discussing the the merit of [untitled] and the energy contained within the writing from bold new writers, he reviewed several of the stories (including the short story competition winners, which he judged), before launching issue 04 to an overwhelming reception.
Readers included George Ivanoff, Dave Halliday, Anja Tanhane, Mileta Rien, and Samantha Ellen-Bound.

[untitled]'s short story competition is underway! We're accepting stories of any genre, up to 5,000 words, and you can submit a maximum of two entries. Award-winning writer Arnold Zable will choose 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners from a shortlist adjudicated by the [untitled] editorial committee. Tess Evans, author of the best-selling Book of Lost Threads, launched issue three of [untitled] yesterday at Poet House. Tess explored the genesis of [untitled], and its importance in the literary community, and how it provided an outlet for emerging writers looking to find a voice for their work.
Readers included Vic Tietze, Koraly Dimitriadis, Brad Dunn, Kirk Marshall, Mal McClenaghan, Andy Murdoch, and Liliane Grace.

Busybird Publishing & Design is proud to announce that issue two of [untitled] was launched last night at 7.00 pm in the function room of Watsonia Library.
Issue two (right) features fiction from Bella Ellwood-Clayton, Melissa Howard, Camille Nurka, J Vernau, Blaise van Hecke, A.S. Patric, Violet Kieu, Therese Mobayad, Lee D Gordon, Hilaire, and Bel Woods; and poetry from Tara Nicole Funk, and Tricia Veale.
It was launched by George Ivanoff, whose story 'Photographic Memory' was published in issue one; and whose young adult novel, Gamers' Quest -- winner of the 2010 Chronos Award for Speculative Fictuion -- was recently released by Ford Street Publishing.
[untitled] is now in the process of seeking submissions for its third issue, which we hope will be released later in the year.

[untitled], Australia's newest periodical anthology of fiction, was launched tonight at 7.00 pm at the function room of Watsonia Library.
The first publication of Busybird Publishing & Design, [untitled] (the cover to the inaugural issue, right) showcases a collection of prose from both emerging and experienced talent.
Featured in this issue are Tess Evans, whose 'Book of Lost Threads' will be released by Allen & Unwin on Mothers Day 2010; George Ivanoff, whose novel Gamers' Quest will be released in October 2009; Lena Pasqua, author of Choir of Burning Candles; and Elizabeth Jane's Beyond the Blackout Curtain, which was the winner of the 2009 Bristol Short Story Prize; as well as Sophie Moon, acclaimed poet Myron Lysenko, Thuy Linh Nguyen, Ryan O'Neill, Stu Hatton, Mal McClenaghan, Elizabeth Jane, Melissa Ferguson, Laura Bovey, Amy Jackson, and Claire Varley.
[untitled] was launched by the delightful Kalinda Ashton, author of the critically acclaimed The Danger Game. The night was attended by over fifty guests, and featured readings from authors Elizabeth Jane, Stu Hatton, George Ivanoff, Mal McClenaghan, and Tess Evans.
The team at [untitled] is now in the process of seeking submissions for its second issue, which is tentatively scheduled for a 10 February 2010 release.
